Purpose
The St. Andrew's United Methodist Pre-school offers a Christian atmosphere where a child can develop physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, forming a natural bridge from home to school.

We believe our teaching techniques and Christian understanding can enrich the importance of building good relationships and healthy attitudes in an accepting Christian environment.

School Policies
The first day of pre-school will be a short orientation and introduction to the school.   The remainder of the year, the Hillsborough County School calendar will be observed, unless you are notified otherwise.  Morning classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. and dismiss at 11:30.  Afternoon classes will begin at 12:00 noon and dismiss at 3:00.  

When you arrive at the drop-off point, please have your child's seat belt unlatched, lunch boxes and baskets ready, and goodbyes said.  The staff will open car doors and help your child from the car.  If you arrive late, you must walk your child into the classroom.  Children who arrive late not only miss group activities and/or special presentations, but interrupt class work.  They may also begin to think that promptness is not important.  Parents are urged to pick up their children promptly at dismissal time, and to be responsible for seeing that all children in their vehicle are buckled properly.  A charge will be assumed for children left more than 10 minutes after dismissal.

Tuition
Annual tuition rates will be as follows:

• 5 day program - Free VPK for 4 yr. olds
• 3 day program - $1567.50  per year, payable in nine monthly payments of $165 with a June payment of half: $82.50 
• 2 day program - $1140 per year, payable in nine monthly payments of $120 with a June payment of half: $60.00

Monthly payments will begin the first day of school in the Fall.

Tuition is due on the first day of each month.  Parents are asked to place the tuition payments in the hands of one of the assistants or the director; do not send it by the children.  A late fee will be incurred after the 15th of the month.  Tuition payments not made after the first month's lapse will automatically drop the child from school, unless other arrangements are made with the director.  No refunds will be made for absenteeism.

Withdrawal
Tuition fees will continue until a child is formally withdrawn from school.  Please notify the school in advance of your child's withdrawal.
