Service Times
We have three services on Sunday morning. All three take place in our sanctuary and each lasts about an hour.
Service hours starting June 13:
• 8:15 a.m. Traditional Service
• 9:45 a.m. Contemporary Service
• 11:15 a.m. Traditional Service
The traditional services feature organ music, robed clergy, a chancel choir and the other elements of worship you may be used to seeing in church.
The contemporary worship service features a more informal worship style and a praise band that plays upbeat praise songs. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month at all three services.
How do I get to St. Andrew's?
We are located at 3315 Bryan Road at Bloomingdale in Brandon, FL.
Click here for a map of the area in which the church is located.
Click here for a campus map and you can see what our campus looks like. The sanctuary is clearly marked, as are the parking lots. The area shaded in orange on the map indicates several spaces reserved for visitor parking. If they are already full when you arrive, you can drop any members of your family off at the walkway to the sanctuary and then park, or simply drive to find an open spot.
There is no dress code at St. Andrew's so you should feel free to come as you are. Typically what you will see when you attend the traditional services (8:30 and 11:10) is people dressed in attire that could be classified as business casual. At the contemporary service (9:50), you will see anything from business casual to shorts and a t-shirt.
Is childcare offered?
Our nursery is open for all three services on Sunday morning to care for your children ages birth - two years old. The nursery is located in rooms 201 and 203 of the Children's Center, which can be seen on the right side of this map of our campus. Children older than two are encouraged to stay in worship with their parents. During the traditional services, children have the option of leaving after the children's message and attending an abbreviated version of Sunday School for the remainder of the service. During the contemporary worship service, we offer Sunday School for children of all ages that lasts the entire worship hour.
If you choose to bring your child to worship, there are goody bags full of noiseless toys at the entrance to the sanctuary that they can have to keep them busy. If your kids are just too excited about worship to keep quiet or control their tears, we do have a "cry room" located in the foyer of the sanctuary where parents can watch the service on closed-circuit TV while your children play.
